DMA was the featured speaker, and gave the members a "Brief History of Western Liberalism." The talk featured history's 12 key "players" of the Liberal Relay Team.

The Alliance is made up of local religious leaders and works to fight
intolerance in and around Lexington. "We bring people together, not just
people from Christian denominations, but Christian, Muslim, Hindu -- people from all faiths," said the Rev. Cynthia Cain, minister at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lexington on Clays Mill Road, who is president of the group.

Jefferson literally cut out parts of the New Testament that he found
difficult to believe, and when he viewed what was left, he discovered The
First Liberal. The volume is now known to us as "The Jefferson Bible."
